Ministry Description:
St. Thomas Helping Hands Ministry (providing meals to new moms and those recovering from hospitalization) is organized into teams of six members each. As the need arises for meal delivery one team at a time is called on a rotating basis. Members of the team each provide one meal for the family of the new mom or the person recovering from illness. It need not be anything fancy, just what you might provide for your own family on a regular evening. Supplemental meals can also be picked up at Double Portion on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursday and delivered to the family.
