Ministry Description:
St. Martha’s Guild, the ministry that assists with Funeral Receptions, is in need of a few more willing members. As a member you would serve on one of four teams, which are called on a rotating basis. Duties include preparing tables, making and serving coffee, punch, bars and cookies, and cleaning up afterward. If the family is having a catered lunch members of the Guild are responsible for meeting the caterer on arrival and giving directions for set up. Those unable to commit may sign up as a substitute to be called occasionally. Or if you are not free during the day you may be willing to provide some homemade goodies. These simple acts are a great blessing to the families who have lost loved ones. If you feel called to this ministry please contact Sandie at the Office, 725-5601, or Kathy Peterson, 725-3174.
